About the Role:
The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the company’s finance systems and data architecture to ensure automation, scalability, and accuracy of financial information.
This role bridges Finance, Data, and Technology, ensuring financial logic is embedded into core systems, enabling real-time reporting, intelligent automation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable finance data architecture connecting product systems, ledgers, and reporting platforms.
- Translate ROSCA operations (pay-ins, pay-outs, fees, vouchers, provisions) into accurate journal entries aligned with IFRS and EAS.
- Automate reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close processes, integrating finance systems with operational platforms.
- Develop automated pipelines and dashboards to support FP&A, Accounting, Financial Operations, Risk, and Treasury teams.
- Implement validation rules, controls, and monitoring processes to ensure financial accuracy, consistency, and audit compliance.
- Design systems capable of supporting rapid growth, new products, and potential geographic expansion.
- Partner with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure governance, consistency, and alignment between systems and business needs.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in finance systems, fintech, or high-growth tech environments.
- Strong SQL skills with good knowledge of Python.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
- Experience with data warehouses, BI dashboards, and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of system integrations and data modeling.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and structured thinker
- Ability to translate operational data into accounting flows and financial insight
