Fine Art Handler / Art Logistics Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a careful and reliable Fine Art Handler / Art Logistics Assistant to support the packing, handling, transport, and installation of artworks and sculptures.

The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, professionalism, and the ability to handle valuable and fragile artworks with care.

Key Responsibilities

Pack and unpack artworks, sculptures, and fragile items.

Assist with safe loading, transport, and unloading.

Use proper materials such as foam, bubble wrap, blankets, straps, and crates.

Support artwork installation at galleries, studios, exhibitions, and private spaces.

Prepare basic condition reports before and after transport.

Follow safety procedures when handling heavy or delicate works.

Keep the van, tools, and packing materials organized.

Coordinate with artists, galleries, collectors, and team members in a professional way.

Requirements

Previous experience in art handling, gallery logistics, museum work, exhibition setup, luxury moving, or furniture installation is preferred.

Good physical strength and ability to lift heavy items safely.

Careful, organized, and detail-oriented.

Good communication skills.

Professional attitude with clients.

Valid UAE driving license is a plus.

Basic English is required. Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with artwork packing and crating.

Experience installing artworks or sculptures.

Knowledge of handling fragile or high-value items.

Ability to work flexible hours during exhibitions and events.
