Logistics / Operations Assistant

· Co-ordinates with customers and carriers including shipping lines and airlines for any queries related to shipments.

· Follow up with the customer on documents, shipments or approvals on daily basis.

· Arranging all the documentation and certification for all import and export shipments

· Build good business relationship with customers.

· Follow up with the carrier on shipment updates / documents.

· Preparing and checking the documentation for all shipments (FCL LCL AIR).

· Processing the bookings of the import & export shpts.

· Track shipments and update to customers and agents.

· Meet the needs of both customer and shipping lines and complete the tasks as per given cut off times.

· Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards – share knowledge and best practices.

· Solving the queries and issues of the customers and providing necessary information to the customers related to the shipments and any other work as per the company requirement.

· Must have sound knowledge of Calogi Software / Dubai Trade.

Qualification and Skills:

· Bachelors / Masters preferably in Supply Chain Management (any other bachelors' degree will also considered)

· Experience: Minimum 2-3 year in logistics / Freight Forwarding / Shipping industry.

· Must possess excellent communication skills – Written & Verbal (English)

· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and possess good computer skills.

· Good with email drafting.

. An excellent team player and able to work well under pressure.

· Possess good Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
