Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will serve as a central point of coordination across suppliers, freight forwarders, drivers, and customers — ensuring the seamless movement of goods into and out of our UAE warehouse. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role suited for a self-starter with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Inbound Coordination

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding the arrangement and scheduling of inbound material shipments to the warehouse.
  • Monitor and follow up on expected delivery timelines to ensure on-time arrival of goods.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure readiness for incoming stock.

Freight Forwarding & Export Operations

  • Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange the export of materials from the UAE, ensuring compliance with customs and shipping requirements.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Monitor export shipment status and proactively resolve any delays or issues.

Proof of Delivery (POD) Management

  • Monitor and collect Proof of Delivery documents for all outbound shipments.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date POD tracker to support invoicing and dispute resolution.
  • Follow up with drivers and delivery partners to ensure timely submission of PODs.

Driver & Fleet Coordination

  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules with drivers, ensuring efficient routing and on-time deliveries.
  • Communicate delivery instructions, priorities, and any special handling requirements to drivers.
  • Address and resolve delivery issues or route changes in real time.

Customer Communication & Delivery Updates

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery status and estimated arrival times.
  • Proactively notify customers of any delays, changes, or issues affecting their deliveries.
  • Handle customer queries professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a logistics, freight, or supply chain coordination role.
  • Prior experience working within the UAE or GCC logistics environment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with logistics or ERP software is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of UAE customs regulations and freight forwarding procedures is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic or additional language skills are an advantage.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
