Material & Logistics Coordinator

Role Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material & Logistics Coordinator to manage the packing, dispatch, and delivery coordination of finished joinery items. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, knowledge of logistics processes, and the ability to ensure materials are delivered safely and on time according to project requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesPacking & Material Handling

• Plan and supervise the packing of all finished joinery items, ensuring proper protection to prevent damage during transportation
• Ensure correct labeling, identification, and documentation of each item for smooth site delivery
• Implement and maintain packing standards and best practices for fragile, heavy, or customized items
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure packing readiness aligns with dispatch schedules

Logistics & Dispatch Coordination

• Prepare delivery schedules in coordination with project timelines and site installation plans
• Ensure timely dispatch of materials to sites based on priority, urgency, and project sequence
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, factory teams, and site teams to ensure smooth deliveries
• Track dispatch status and resolve logistics-related issues proactively

Inventory & Documentation

• Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery notes, and material movement documentation
• Verify quantities and material details before dispatch
• Ensure all logistics documentation is updated and properly filed

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate closely with factory, project, procurement, and site teams to avoid delays or material shortages
• Provide regular updates on delivery schedules, pending dispatches, and logistics status
• Support continuous improvement in packing efficiency and logistics operations

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, dispatch coordination, warehouse operations, or material handling
• Preferably from joinery, interiors, construction, furniture, or manufacturing industries
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to handle multiple deliveries and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of packing standards and material protection methods is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and documentation processes preferred
