Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
• Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are noted
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via OpenTable or other POS platforms
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations

Skills

• Extensive fine dining experience with a strong background in upscale food service environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates memorable guest interactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus for better understanding of food preparation and presentation
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
