Finishing Inspector

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Finishing Inspector to join our supervision team for high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting interior and exterior finishing works and ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all finishing activities on-site, including plastering, tiling, painting, ceilings, joinery, waterproofing, and facade elements.
• Ensure workmanship meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review material approvals, method statements, and shop drawings related to finishing works.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and prepare punch lists.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Support the final handover process by verifying completion of all finishing tasks to the required standard.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in high-rise building projects, with strong focus on finishing supervision.
• Knowledge of local building codes, finishing materials, and construction techniques.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to quality control.
• Previous consultancy or site supervision experience preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and snagging tools is a plus.
