Finishing Inspector

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Finishing Inspector with a consultancy background and strong experience in high-rise projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finishing works on-site to ensure compliance with design intent, project specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor finishing works including painting, tiling, joinery, ceilings, and other interior finishes.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality requirements.
• Review and comment on contractor’s shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Monitor progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule and approved standards.
• Highlight and follow up on defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Support the project team during testing, commissioning, and handover stages.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience, including at least 5 years with a consultancy firm.
• Proven experience in high-rise and large-scale finishing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes and standards.
