Role Description: Fintech Business Analyst

· Coordinating with the derivatives trading desk to automate various trading process with objective of digitizing processes & improving them

· Work on scoping of the trading team’s digital projects and liaison with IT team to update, implement, and monitor the deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

· Back testing hypotheses to enable informed decision making on strategies

· Enhance data analysis capabilities of the team with ability to analyze voluminous data to generate actionable insights

· Core coding work for data visualization using Python

Job Qualifications:

· Candidates with 0-2 years of experience in coding and finance

· Advanced proficiency in Python and Excel is a must

· Good theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of equity derivatives

· Preferred - Candidates with MBA (Finance) / CFA / relevant experience

Skills Required:

· Passion for capital market

· Strong analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to work in fast paced environment

· Sound understanding of valuation metrics, financial ratios, derivatives data and events that impact stock price
