Fire alarm / Fighting Site Engineer

1. Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise installation and maintenance activities of fire alarm, sprinkler, and fire suppression systems.

2. Technical & Site Execution

• Interpret project drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Oversee the installation of fire pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, detectors, panels, and control devices.
• Ensure cable routing, terminations, and device installation comply with NFPA, UAE Civil Defense, and project standards.
• Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems in coordination with engineers.

3. Quality & Safety

• Enforce site safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Monitor material usage and ensure proper storage and handling of fire fighting materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily progress reports and manpower allocation.
• Record test results, installation checklists, and inspection requests.
• Report site issues, delays, and material requirements to the Project Manager.

5. Coordination with Authorities

• Assist in site inspections with consultants and local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense).
• Ensure installation meets the requirements for final approval and certification.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm and fire fighting systems, with at least 2 years in a site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Civil Defense regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and schematics.
• Experience with testing and commissioning fire systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Allocate work to technicians and ensure proper execution according to drawings and safety standards.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth progress.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
