Fire Alarm System Pre-Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Fire Alarm System Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical pre-sales support, develop compliant fire alarm solutions, and work closely with sales teams, clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications, BOQs, and drawings related to fire alarm and gas detection systems
• Design fire and gas detection system solutions in compliance with NFPA, QCD, and relevant local authority standards
• Select appropriate detectors, control panels, accessories, and interfaces for fire & gas systems
• Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, cause & effect matrices, and datasheets
• Provide technical support during bidding, clarification, and value-engineering stages
• Respond to Technical Queries (TQs) and prepare deviation statements when required
• Coordinate with OEMs for approvals, technical clarifications, and system suitability
• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and local authorities
• Support integration with F&G, BMS, ESD, and other safety systems
• Attend and support QCD inspections

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• UPDA & QCD certification (Grade C or Trainee) – mandatory
• Valid NOC
• Must be currently residing in Qatar
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems standards and regulations
