The Pewaukee Fire Department is seeking a full-time Battalion Chief to join our leadership team due to an upcoming retirement. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a vital role that shapes daily operations, strengthens community safety, and guides a dedicated 24-hour shift team. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Anticipated Start Date: July 2026
An outline of the process will be provided to qualified applicants following submission of the application materials. The process is expected to start in mid-May with subsequent steps taking place through mid-June.
Qualifications
Associates/Technical degree and paramedic license required; Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree preferred. 10 years Fire/EMS experience with at least 3 years as a full-time company grade officer in an equivalent-sized or larger department.
