Fire fighting technician

• Rectification of various leakages in fire pipelines and valves, including necessary repairs and rectification of fire pumps.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and testing of fire fighting pumps (diesel, electric, and jockey).
• Install, program, and commission fire alarm and fire fighting systems along with associated components.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance in compliance with NFPA 72 and local authority (ADCD/Civil Defense) requirements.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system faults or issues efficiently.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades (electrical, mechanical, and civil) to ensure proper system integration.
• Perform system upgrades or modifications as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, test forms, and installation records.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and site regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or assistants.
• Attend client meetings, provide technical updates, and support system testing and commissioning activities.
