FIRE FIGHTING TECHNICIAN

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems (FM-200, CO2, water sprinklers, hydrants, etc.)
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance of fire pumps, sprinklers, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and alarm systems
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire suppression systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, QCDD)
• Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergency calls, or system malfunctions
• Conduct pressure and flow tests to verify system functionality and performance
• Maintain accurate service logs, inspection checklists, and equipment reports
• Coordinate with civil defense authorities and attend inspections when required
• Assist in training staff on the proper use of fire safety equipment and emergency protocols
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and good working condition

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of proven experience in fire fighting system installation and maintenance
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Familiarity with QCDD regulations and standards is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret fire system layout drawings and technical documents
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Must be based in Doha and available for interview
• Valid and transferable visa with NOC is mandatory
