CEG International is seeking an experienced Fire Life & Safety Engineer with an Architectural Engineering background to support design review and site supervision activities on building projects. The role involves ensuring full compliance with fire and life safety codes, standards, and local authority requirements throughout the design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural and multidisciplinary designs to ensure compliance with Fire & Life Safety (FLS) codes and regulations
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams to integrate fire safety requirements into building designs
• Prepare and review Fire & Life Safety strategies, reports, and drawings
• Liaise with Civil Defense and local authorities for approvals and compliance requirements
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved FLS designs and specifications
• Identify fire safety risks and recommend corrective actions
• Support testing, commissioning, and final approval processes
• Review materials, shop drawings, and method statements related to fire and life safety systems
• Provide technical guidance during design review and construction supervision stages

Requirements

• Education: BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent qualification in Architecture / Architectural Engineering or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Fire Life & Safety engineering
• Strong experience in building projects, including design review and site supervision
• Knowledge of international codes and standards (NFPA, IBC, BS, local Qatar regulations)
• Consultancy background is preferred
• Strong coordination, communication, and report-writing skills
