Safety World is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. We're looking for a professional with 2-3 years of proven experience in fire alarm and firefighting systems. Job Overview

As a Mechanical Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems. You will ensure all work complies with approved drawings and local regulations. This role requires excellent coordination skills to manage project teams, contractors, and consultants while maintaining quality and safety on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Ensure all project work adheres to local authority regulations and approved specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and provide troubleshooting support.
• Efficiently manage on-site labor and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit regular site progress reports to the project manager.
• Enforce and ensure adherence to all safety protocols on-site.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections as required.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and testing & commissioning of fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of relevant standards such as NFPA, BS, and UAE Civil Defence codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Other: A valid driving license and Civil Defence Card is preferred. You must have a strong command of English (both written and spoken).

Compensation and Application

• Salary: AED 2,500 - AED 3,500 per month.
