Fire & Safety Technician

Purpose: Maintain and operate fire/safety equipment; support emergency response and routine safety tasks.

Work Schedule: Schedule‑3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) |

Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

Project Tenure will be 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test and maintain firefighting systems and PPE (SCBA, BA airline systems, extinguishers).
• Perform gas detection/monitoring equipment checks; maintain logs.
• Support hot work, confined space and WAH controls per PTW.
• Assist in emergency drills and equipment staging.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:

• NEBOSH certification.
• Diploma or equivalent in maintaining fire/safety equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Minimum Experience:

• 3–5 years in Oil & Gas or petrochemical operations.

Job‑Specific Skills (must/strongly preferred):

• Training on gas detection/monitoring systems; SCBA & BA airline operations.
• Equipment inspection & maintenance; defensive driving preferred.
