Job Opportunity: Fire Suppression / FM200 Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression/FM200 Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire suppression systems, with a strong focus on FM200 and other clean agent systems.
Responsibilities
- Installation: Carry out installation of FM200 and other fire suppression systems.
- Testing & commissioning: Perform system checks, discharge tests, and commissioning before handover.
- Maintenance & troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults to ensure system reliability and readiness.
- Compliance: Ensure all work meets NFPA standards, local fire codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Coordination: Work with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fire suppression systems, with hands-on expertise in FM200 systems.
- Knowledge of clean agent systems (FM200, Novec 1230, CO₂, etc.) and NFPA standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
- Must have a valid QID and NOC
