Duties

• Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergency calls, and rescue situations with professionalism and urgency
• Operate firefighting equipment, including hoses, ladders, and extinguishers, to suppress fires effectively
• Provide first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic life support to injured or ill individuals on scene
• Conduct thorough scene assessments, including vital signs monitoring and mechanical inspections of equipment
• Drive emergency vehicles safely under various conditions while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
• Perform search and rescue operations in hazardous environments, ensuring the safety of victims and team members
• Maintain detailed incident reports, equipment logs, and safety documentation for each emergency response

Skills

• Certified in CPR and basic life support techniques to deliver immediate medical care
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot firefighting tools and rescue equipment efficiently
• Physical strength for heavy lifting, carrying gear, and performing strenuous rescue activities
• Ability to assess vital signs accurately and recognize signs of medical distress or trauma
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with the public during emergencies
• Not Required - Incentive if EMT Certified

Pay: $40,069.00 - $48,056.00 per year
