First Class Pre-K Auxiliary Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will have a love for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher in development of curriculum, classroom management, and caring for students.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration among toddlers.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support each child's educational journey.
• Provide individualized attention to students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education support.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.

Experience

• Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
• Minimum of CDA certificate is REQUIRED. Associates in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Familiarity with lesson planning and classroom management techniques.
• Knowledge of child development principles, particularly in relation to toddler care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
