We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fit-Out Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. Position Overview:
The Fit-Out Draftsman will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings for interior fit-out projects. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software, along with a strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction processes. The ideal candidate will be able to translate design concepts into precise technical plans for use by contractors and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate technical drawings for interior fit-out projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure all design specifications and requirements are met.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
• Produce drawings that comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to resolve design issues and ensure project feasibility.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and revisions based on project schedules and client needs.
• Assist in preparing design presentations and proposals as needed.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in fit-out design and construction technologies.
• Perform site visits to collect data and ensure that designs are accurately implemented.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a draftsman in fit-out, interior design, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting and design software.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction techniques used in fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, designers, and contractors.
• Ability to produce high-quality, accurate technical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering software is a plus (e.g., SketchUp, 3DS Max, or similar).
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
