Fit-Out Estimator

Our company is seeking a dedicated Fit-Out Estimator to join our joinery and interior fit-out department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates, reviewing project documentation, and ensuring competitive and accurate tender submissions

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and scope of works.
• Perform material and labor quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, drawings, and budget requirements.
• Identify potential cost savings and propose value engineering solutions.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams during pre- and post-tender stages.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier lists, and pricing records for future projects.
• Support the project team with variation pricing and cost control during project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator in the interior fit-out or joinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery works, and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents accurately.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.
• Knowledge of local market rates, material costs, and supplier base is an advantage.
