Fit-Out Estimator / Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Fit-Out Estimator / Estimation Engineer with 4–6 years of experience, including proven experience in the UAE market. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects while leveraging strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, materials, and market rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for fit-out projects
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates (materials, labor, subcontractors)
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs
• Source and evaluate quotations from UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure pricing aligns with current UAE market rates and standards
• Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals within deadlines
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs
• Identify risks and provide cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
• Attend client/consultant meetings, including pre- and post-tender discussions
• Maintain and update cost databases specific to UAE projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 4–6 years of total experience in estimation, with mandatory UAE fit-out experience (minimum 2–3 years)
• Strong knowledge of UAE fit-out materials, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense)
• Proficiency in estimation tools (Excel, AutoCAD; CostX/PlanSwift is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, and tendering processes
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or F&B fit-out projects in UAE
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices
• Ability to handle multiple tenders under tight deadlines
