Senior Estimation Engineer

  • The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and supporting the company in securing profitable projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, BOQs, specifications, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to prepare competitive and technically compliant proposals.
  • The Estimation Engineer will work closely with the projects, procurement, and management teams to ensure proper cost evaluation and alignment with project requirements.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and tendering procedures;
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing;
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings;
  • Experience with estimation software and Excel;
  • Familiarity with Dubai authority requirements and local market rates;
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills;
  • Good communication and coordination abilities;
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project requirements;
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and MEP works;
  • Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and verify BOQ quantities;
  • Prepare pricing breakdowns, cost analysis, and tender submissions;
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Perform comparative analysis (technical and commercial) to select the most competitive offers;
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure pricing accuracy;
  • Identify scope gaps, risks, and potential cost variations in tender documents;
  • Prepare technical clarifications and queries during tender stage;
  • Assist in value engineering proposals to optimize project cost;
  • Prepare complete tender packages, including cost breakdowns; BOQ pricing; Technical submissions; Supporting documents;
  • Liaise with design, planning, procurement, and project teams for accurate costing.
  • Support management during tender negotiations and client meetings.
  • Maintain updated cost databases for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare post-tender analysis reports.
  • Monitor market rates and industry pricing trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
