Fit-Out Procurement Officer – Job Description

Job Summary

The Fit-Out Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials and services required for interior fit-out projects. This role ensures timely procurement aligned with project budgets, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement plans specific to fit-out projects.
• Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for furniture, finishes, MEP components, and services.
• Documentation: Review BOQs and drawings to identify procurement needs; issue RFQs and analyze quotations.
• Purchase Orders: Manage POs and delivery schedules to align with construction milestones.
• Compliance: Ensure materials meet project specs and regulatory standards.
• Cost Control: Track procurement costs, savings, and budget adherence.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with design, project management, and site teams.
• Supplier Relations: Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
• Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare procurement reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement within the fit-out or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, furniture, and MEP systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and AutoCAD (a plus).
• Understanding of local and international supplier markets, especially within the GCC.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
