Fit-Out Project Engineer (with ADDC / TAQA / MUSANADA Experience)

Job Purpose:

The Fit-Out Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising interior fit-out works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ADDC/TAQA/MUSANADA regulations, and health and safety standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, materials, and documentation to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for interior fit-out and MEP coordination works.
• Ensure that all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and ADDC/TAQA/MUSANADA standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities to obtain necessary permits, inspections, and approvals.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for approval.
• Liaise with MEP engineers to ensure services integration with architectural finishes.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections, snagging, and quality control checks.
• Ensure all site activities comply with HSE regulations and company policies.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and variation claims.
• Coordinate with ADDC for electrical load applications and connections, and with TAQA/MUSANADA for utility interface and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience dealing with ADDC / TAQA / MUSANADA for project submissions, approvals, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes, authority procedures, and project documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.
