Job Title: Fit-Out Project ManagerJob Summary
The Fit-Out Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering interior fit-out projects from initiation to final handover. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contract specifications, authority requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Manage full lifecycle of interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, F&B, hospitality, offices, etc.).
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contract documents.
- Develop detailed project execution plan, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (ADM, DMT, Civil Defense, ADDC, etc.).
2. Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budget.
- Control material procurement and subcontractor costs.
- Review variations, prepare cost impact analysis, and negotiate approvals.
- Monitor project cash flow and ensure timely invoicing and certification.
3. Site Management
- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure work progress aligns with approved schedule.
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reporting.
- Ensure health & safety compliance and quality control implementation.
4. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Act as primary point of contact with client and consultant.
- Attend progress meetings and present reports.
- Resolve technical issues and manage RFIs.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout project lifecycle.
5. Procurement & Subcontractor Management
- Participate in subcontractor selection and evaluation.
- Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality standards.
6. Quality Assurance & Handover
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Prepare snag list and ensure proper rectification.
- Manage project close-out documentation and final handover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 7–12 years experience in interior fit-out projects in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of authority approvals and fit-out regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
