PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Report for duty at the Fitness on time and in full uniform, keeping smart and well-groomed at all times and maintain a friendly and cheerful attitude.
2. Carries out fitness assessments, consultations and inductions with new clients.
3. Demonstrating routines for clients to follow. Shows clients how to use exercise machines and free weights properly.
4. Assesses guest’s well-being in terms of their weight, aerobic capacity, whether they have any health factors limiting their ability to get fitter e.g. asthma, and will assess whether they need to change aspects to do with their lifestyle.
5. Supervises clients to make sure that they are exercising safely and effectively leading group exercise classes such as circuit training, aerobics or spinning.
6. Designing personal exercise programs.
7. Works closely with clients in order to work out specific aims as regards fitness.
8. Provides help in the case of an emergency.
9. Also gives advice on healthy eating and lifestyle.
10. Works with special groups of people, such as older adults, children, and people with disabilities or clients referred by doctors.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by Wellness manager.
SALES AND REVENUE GENERATION
1. Actively promote fitness membership, personal training, Packages & Wellness program to guest and members,
2. Support the team in achieving monthly revenue target through up cross -selling and engaging with potential members.
3. Maintain accurate records of leads, trials and conversions ensuring follow-ups to secure sales.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Supervisor/Wellness Manager in the compilation of the monthly user activity reports.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures the gym is clean and free of health and safety hazards.
COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist all special fitness, professional and/or promotional work, when requested.
2. Advertises and promotes the club or center to increase usage, which may include commissioning and considering market research.
HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attends all training organized by management to maintain smooth run of the Fitness center covering business demand.
RELATIONSHIP
1. Reports to Supervisor/Wellness Manager
2. Coordinates with the department to ensure smooth operations and all activities of the hotel.
3. Interacts and communicates with guests to promote the activity programs
