Fitout Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman with a strong background in fit-out and interior design. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of interior design principles and construction techniques. As a Foreman, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of fit-out and interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

Supervise and manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and tradespeople, providing clear instructions and guidance.

Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and clients to interpret design plans and ensure seamless execution of projects.

Address any issues or challenges that arise on site promptly, implementing effective solutions to maintain project progress.

Manage and allocate resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage.

Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Foreman in fit-out and interior design projects.

Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices in interior design.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design plans, and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree or certification in construction management, interior design, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in fit-out and interior design projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a construction environment, including standing, walking, and lifting heavy materials.
