Manufacturing Carpenter Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and assembly workers in the cabinet manufacturing area.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to guide production.
• Ensure all cabinetry is manufactured and assembled to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity, ensuring work stays on schedule.
• Train new workers on tools, machinery, safety procedures, and production techniques.
• Inspect finished cabinets for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory of materials and report shortages to the purchasing department.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in carpentry, specifically in kitchen cabinet manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role within a production or woodworking environment.
• Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and cabinet assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Solid leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
