Fitter Welder

Job Overview

Taylor Oilfield Mfg., Inc is looking for a self-motivated, organized and dependable fitter/welder with a customer satisfaction outlook to join our team. This position will entail fabricating and welding a multitude of various parts and weld repair of existing parts.

Schedule:

This is a full time position (40 hours) Monday thru Friday with available overtime.

Job requirements:

1. Must be able to read dimensional drawings proficiently and have an understanding of weld callouts

2. Responsible for cutting and fitting materials for projects assigned to.

3. Operate forklifts and overhead crane safely

4. Must be able to read and execute written work instructions effectively with minimal supervision and in a timely manner.

5. Must have experience welding mild steels (A-36, A572, 1018) and aluminum alloys (5052 & 6061).

6. Must have GMAW, FCAW & GTAW experience and be able to pass ASME weld testing

7. Experience with light manual machining, drilling, milling preferred but not required.

8. Must have basic math skills and be able to tape measure accurately.

9. Must have the ability to safely handle and operate power hand tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.)
