Responsibilities

• Operate your own tractor- vehicle safely across designated routes, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
• Transport a variety of cargo including all kinds of goods, flatbed loads, or other freight types with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Manage route driving effectively to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight transportation; delivery driver experience is highly valued.
• Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types such as Dry Van trailers, flatbeds.
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures when handling different cargo types.
• Demonstrated ability to drive tractor-trailers safely over long distances while maintaining excellent driving records.
• Knowledge of route planning strategies to ensure timely deliveries across diverse terrains and conditions.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of freight transported (e.g., refrigerated or tanker).
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks independently. Pay: $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per week
