Job Title: Floater

Location: Sleep Center of Nevada – Multiple Locations

Position Summary

The Floater provides operational and administrative support across multiple departments and Sleep Center locations as needed. This role is responsible for ensuring continuity of patient care and administrative functions by filling in for staff absences, assisting with high patient volume, and supporting clinical and front-office operations. The Floater must be flexible, highly organized, and capable of adapting to varying responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for front office, clinical support, or patient coordination roles as assigned.
  • Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and registration processes.
  • Support sleep technologists and clinical staff with non-clinical patient care tasks.
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with medical record documentation, scanning, and data entry as required.
  • Ensure exam rooms and patient care areas are properly prepared and stocked.
  • Provide general administrative support including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and coordinating appointments.
  • Travel between Sleep Center locations when necessary to provide operational coverage.
  • Assist management with special projects or operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or sleep center environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling patient information.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move between departments for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
