Floater Teacher

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development strategies tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Support classroom management and behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and engaging learning environment.
• Work with children of different ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, providing attentive care aligned with best practices in childcare and daycare settings.
• Participate in lesson planning and adapt activities to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure consistent child welfare and developmental progress.
• Assist with standardized testing preparations or tutoring sessions as needed to support student achievement.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in classroom or daycare settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tools.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students requiring special education accommodations or behavioral support.
• Experience in preschool or Montessori environments is a plus.
