Apple Hospital is seeking an organized, proactive, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Floor Coordinator. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations on the hospital floor, enhancing patient care, and coordinating between departments to improve the overall experience for patients, families, and staff. The Floor Coordinator will work closely with nursing staff, doctors, and other departments to ensure efficient communication and effective resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a seamless process.
- Serve as the point of contact for patient inquiries and ensure prompt response to patient needs.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and departments to arrange tests, procedures, and other medical services as required.
- Operational Support
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of assigned floor areas.
- Ensure the availability of necessary supplies, equipment, and resources for patient care.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address issues promptly.
- Communication and Liaison
- Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
- Communicate effectively with medical and nursing staff regarding patient needs and status.
- Escalate issues to the Nursing Superintendent or Floor Manager when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to floor operations and patient care activities.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, tests, and procedures as directed by medical personnel.
- Support the billing department by verifying and communicating services rendered.
- Customer Service
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients and their families.
- Address concerns, complaints, and special requests from patients or families with empathy and professionalism.
- Educate patients and families about hospital policies, procedures, and patient rights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
