Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high-quality flooring surfaces.
• Execute carpet cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and solutions to remove stains and dirt buildup effectively.
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning tools are properly sanitized and stored.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Assist with environmental services by managing waste disposal and implementing eco-friendly cleaning practices.
• Collaborate with team members to complete special cleaning projects or deep-clean initiatives as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services within commercial or institutional settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, extractors, and vacuums safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in every task.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and following instructions precisely.
