We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces and delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations. Duties

• Measure and prepare surfaces accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper installation of flooring materials.
• Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed.
• Install various types of flooring including tile laying, hardwood, laminate, vinyl planks, and carpet with precision and attention to detail.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, caulking guns, buffing machines, and concrete finishing tools to complete installations efficiently.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks such as baseboards, molding, and thresholds to achieve a polished finish.
• Seal joints with caulking or sealants to prevent water damage and ensure durability.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications and installation guidelines.
• Conduct water damage restoration when necessary by removing damaged materials and installing new flooring or related fixtures.
• Assist with floor care maintenance including buffing, cleaning, and routine inspections to prolong the lifespan of installed floors.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on remodeling projects involving cabinet installation, fixture setup, or painting.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards within the restoration industry when applicable.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flooring installation with a strong understanding of tile laying, carpentry, and construction site practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, caulking guns, as well as power tools required for flooring installation and finishing work.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for assessing project scope and materials needed.
• Experience in water damage restoration or general construction painting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and routine maintenance procedures.
• Strong understanding of schematics related to fixture installation or remodeling projects.
• Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot issues related to substrate preparation or material compatibility.
• Maintenance Person experience or background in restoration industry work will be considered beneficial for versatile project support. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $47,990.79 - $157,795.36 per year

Work Location: Remote
