Floral Designer

Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events that met our high design standards and style

- Ability to create new designs that meet our quality standards
- Assist customers in selecting the right flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department
- Receive and stock floral inventory

- General floral industry tasks including processing flowers, sanitizing buckets, rotating flowers in cooler, etc.

Holiday Schedule: Our peak seasons include the week of Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Prom Season and Homecoming season. Mandatory overtime is required during peak seasons.

Required Experience:
- 1 year minimum experience as a floral designer in a retail environment is required. Applicants without this requirement will not be considered. Portfolio submission of prior work is required.
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Strong artistic and creative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
