Floral Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral artistry, horticulture, and customer service. This role involves designing beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, maintaining the floral display area, and providing exceptional service to our customers. Experience in floral design and e-commerce is highly valued. Bilingual skills and familiarity with retail sales systems such as POS are a plus. The Floral Designer will play a key role in enhancing our store’s visual appeal and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert floral craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Create custom floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday occasions using fresh flowers and greenery
• Maintain the floral display area, ensuring it is attractive, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist customers with selecting flowers and designing arrangements that meet their needs
• Manage inventory levels of flowers, supplies, and related products through stock replenishment and merchandising
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering floral care advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Handle merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and setting up displays to promote seasonal or promotional items
• Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to store standards

Skills

• Proficiency in floral design techniques with an eye for aesthetics.
• Experience with retail sales processes including POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory, stock replenishment, and display setup
• Customer service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with clients and provide personalized recommendations
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms for online flower sales or store promotions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in floral arrangements and store presentation

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
