We are seeking an experienced and dependable Facilities Management Supervisor (FM Supervisor) to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MEP systems, proven supervisory experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality and compliant facilities services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair operations for building systems.
- Evaluate systems and facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Plan and assign maintenance schedules and project timelines.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of District Cooling Systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, including after hours and on holidays.
Planning and Coordination
- Develop preventive maintenance plans in line with contractual requirements.
- Allocate resources and manage execution of preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with specialized system contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely task completion.
- Issue necessary work permits and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for materials and vendor support.
- Communicate daily with client representatives regarding facilities operations.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of technicians across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
- Conduct daily briefings, debriefings, and team meetings.
- Provide orientation and on-the-job training in health, safety, and operational standards.
- Ensure team members comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset registers, and service history.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on facilities operations and performance.
- Validate and verify completion of planned maintenance tasks and additional client requirements.
- Support the FM Manager with operational updates and improvement recommendations.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all legal codes, company procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Monitor quality control across operations, ensuring prompt issue resolution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for all team members.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP or building maintenance supervision.
- Proven experience in HVAC operations and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related maintenance management software.
- Excellent customer service orientation and attention to detail.
Eligibility
- Must be locally available in the UAE.
- Preference for candidates who can join immediately (visit visa or cancelled visa holders).
Education & Certifications
- BTech or Technical Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Management (required).
- Associate Degree in Facility Management (preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving License (required).
