ducational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in cost control, accounting, or hospitality management can be an advantage.
Experience:
- Proven experience (usually 2-5 years) in cost control or accounting within the food and beverage industry or hospitality sector.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to F&B operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of food and beverage cost control principles and techniques.
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, POS systems).
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards in F&B operations.
