Key Responsibilities

• Carve, cut, and shape foam or Styrofoam materials to create props, models, displays, or decorative pieces according to design specifications.
• Read and interpret design drawings, patterns, or templates.
• Use hand tools, hot wire cutters, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply surface finishes such as sanding, sealing, painting, or coating to achieve the desired texture and look.
• Assemble carved components into larger structures or installations.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and other production staff to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Handle materials efficiently to minimize waste.
