FOH Team Member

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments, ensuring all transactions are handled with precision and honesty.
• Assist customers with menu questions, recommendations, and order placements, upselling additional items like drinks, sides, and desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front counter, register, and customer-facing areas throughout the shift.
• Monitor stock levels at the front station, including menus, utensils, napkins, to-go boxes, and beverages, and restock as needed.
• Perform opening duties such as counting the cash drawer, restocking supplies, and ensuring all POS systems are functional.
• Assist the team during busy periods by boxing and bagging pizzas, bussing tables, and clearing trash from the dining area.
• Proactively monitor customer dining areas, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Handle refunds, discounts, and gift card transactions according to company policy.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Keep track of low-stock items at the register and communicate supply needs to management.
• Follow proper food safety protocols, including wearing gloves when handling food and ensuring safe storage of consumables.
• Escalate guest concerns to the manager on duty when issues cannot be resolved promptly.
• Participate in end-of-day closing procedures, including balancing the cash drawer, cleaning workstations, and organizing supplies for the next shift.
• Stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and new menu items to provide accurate information to guests.
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols, including fire safety, emergency procedures, and handling customer complaints.

Experience

• Previous experience in the restaurant industry is required
• Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
• Food Handlers card
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus
• Understanding of food safety protocols and food handling procedures
• Experience working in a kitchen environment, particularly in a quick-service fast-food restaurant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
