The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees daily outlet operations to ensure excellent guest service, smooth workflow, and compliance with brand and hygiene standards. This role supports team leadership, service quality, and operational efficiency while maintaining high guest satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Service
- Supervise daily restaurant / bar / banquet operations
- Ensure smooth service flow and adherence to service standards
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign staff duties
- Monitor table service, guest satisfaction, and overall dining experience
- Handle guest complaints and provide immediate service recovery
- Ensure outlet cleanliness, setup, and presentation standards
Team Leadership
- Train, coach, and motivate service staff
- Support performance evaluations and staff development
- Ensure proper grooming and professional conduct
- Assist with duty rosters and manpower planning
Financial & Administrative
- Monitor daily sales, cashiering, and billing accuracy
- Support upselling initiatives and revenue targets
- Control wastage, breakage, and operational costs
- Assist in inventory checks and stock control
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP / Dubai Municipality)
- Follow company SOPs and brand service standards
- Maintain health & safety procedures in the workplace
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (preferred)
- Minimum 2–4 years experience in Food & Beverage service
- Previous supervisory experience in hotels or restaurants preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends & holidays
