Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and wine pairings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with restaurant cleanliness to maintain a pristine environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure order accuracy
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar platforms when needed
• Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation guidelines, and proper food handling procedures at all times

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
• Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting roles demonstrates strong guest service skills
• Culinary experience or kitchen background enhances understanding of food preparation and presentation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Strong communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork within fast-paced settings
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining health standards

Pay: $22.80 - $40.00 per hour
