Food Service Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for healthy food and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. This role will be for morning, mid-day and closing shifts and requires open availability for nights and weekends. We currently close at 5:30PM and may extend our hours to 7PM. We will only be considering applicants who have a at least two years of experience working in a kitchen environment prepping and cooking food. The position is for a team member who works all aspects of the restaurant including FOH order preparation, BOH prep, cold press juicing, barista and dish washing duties. Our team members work all functions of the restaurant and must be comfortable working directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health regulations.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Properly make smoothies, bowls, toasts and coffees in a timely fashion while maintaining brand consistency, speed and presentations standards
• Assist customers with their orders, providing information about menu items and specials.
• Buss tables and ensure dining areas are clean and welcoming for guests.
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support all front of house and back of house functions.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Experience with CAKE POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to perform cash handling tasks accurately, including operating cash registers.
• Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the food industry preparing food is a REQUIREMENT

Requirements:

Serv Safe Certification
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Prior Experience prepping in kitchen
