Food Service Worker

Job Purpose:
  • The Food Service Worker at ECI Management Group is responsible for supporting food service operations by ensuring efficient and effective preparation, service, and cleanliness within the kitchen and dining areas. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality food service and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Operate as a headcount/cashier, managing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform pot washing duties, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Execute various kitchen duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the food service operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Base Pay: $17.20 per hour
Health & Welfare (H&W) Pay in Lieu of Benefits: $4.57* per hour — provided to employees who opt out of company-sponsored insurance.
Total Combined Pay: $21.77 per hour*

Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food service
  • Demonstrated customer service skills

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in handling cash and operating a cashier station
  • Experience in pot washing and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and practices
  • Capability to carry out various kitchen duties as assigned
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
