Food Supplement Production Manager

Farmasi Headquarters Istanbul / Çekmeköy location is looking for a "Food Supplement Production Manager" to be assigned with in the Food Supplement Factory.

Responsibilities

• To ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets
• Identifies opportunities for cost control and works to implement them with support from his/her executive
• Focusing on ongoing process improvement
• Ensures production is carried out according to high quality standards set forth by the company and project team
• To ensure the preparation of all relevant procedures, instructions and documents regarding the factory setup and production processes
• To follow the technological developments in the sector and closely follow the applied production techniques and tools
• Managing the purchasing processes for production equipment and all necessary consumables
• Training and development of staff to create effective teams and efficient shift production
• Communicates with related department to understand project priorities and schedule production accordingly
• Works with Maintenance Executive to accommodate routine and annual maintenance activities
• Promotes a safe working environment at all times
• Manages collection and reporting of production data, KPI’s etc. to support routine dashboards and special reports as required by his/her executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in the food, dietary supplement and/or pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of powder mix, effervescent tablet filling and capsule filling production processes
• Experienced in tablet and semi-solid pharmaceutical production and packaging processes
• Experienced in Production Filling Technique and Quality Control
• Experienced in certification processes such as GMP, HACCP etc. and experienced in 5S, TPM (Total Efficient Maintenance) and Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Good command of English
• Experienced in team management
• Developed communication, planning and problem solving skills
• Ability to coach and motivate others in alignment with company goals
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
