Foreign Trade Manager

We are seeking an experienced Foreign Trade Operations Manager to oversee logistics operations within the industrial/manufacturing industry. This role, based in Istanbul, requires expertise in managing international trade processes and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Description

• Oversee daily execution of import activities, ensuring timely and compliant process flow
• Act as operational interface with customs brokers, suppliers, banks, and regulatory institutions
• Monitor transactional costs and drive improvements for import-related expenditures
• Maintain, store, and track all import documentation in line with audit requirements
• Lead incentive-linked procurement procedures, with full accountability for opening/closing files under Inward Processing Regime
• Build strong cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Production, and other internal stakeholders

Profile

• Bachelor's degree from related departments
• Minimum 5 years of manager level experience in foreign trade or import operations
• Prior exposure to a production/manufacturing organization is considered a strong advantage
• Deep familiarity with customs legislation, import regulations & end-to-end operational cycles
• Proven experience with Inward Processing Regime is required
• Strong organizational capability, stakeholder coordination, and persuasive communication skills
• Professional level command of English
