Position Overview
A Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction projects on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans. The role bridges the gap between workers and management, overseeing crews, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Interpret and implement blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
- Ensure safety standards and company policies are strictly followed.
- Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues.
- Inspect work quality and ensure adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet deadlines.
- Monitor use of materials and equipment to avoid delays and wastage.
- Maintain records of work progress, attendance, and incidents.
- Report project status and challenges to higher management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Foreman, Supervisor, or similar role in construction.
- Hands-on experience in carpentry, masonry, concrete work, or other trades.
- Knowledge of construction management software (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (may be required).
Typical Work Environment
- Job sites (residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects).
- Exposure to outdoor weather, heavy machinery, and physically demanding work.
- Requires wearing protective equipment (helmets, boots, safety vests, etc.).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
